Works very well for what it was designed to do, when of course, it works. Much like the nintendo wii remote infrared reciever, it works really well when it works, and when it has problems, well, it doesn't work at all. Buying is advisable, just buy more than you were planning to use so if one is bad, it's okay. It can be replaced.
