Battle raging blazes in real-time with a team of able professionals in Emergency Rescue: Firefighters from WizardWorks. Throughout history, it's been understood that fire can be as deadly and destructive as it is crucial to the evolution of human civilization. When a modern fire rages out of control, it's time to call in the Emergency Rescue Firefighters to douse the flames and save the day. Players control a squad of highly trained firefighters from a conventional isometric 2D perspective, through dangerous missions in crowded city streets and remote rural homesteads alike.<br><br>Players have to plan the firefights wisely. With a limited amount of resources it becomes extremely important to use what it available in the most effective way. Approaching a blaze head-on without carefully considering consequences may only waste precious water and time, or worse yet, cause the flames to grow even stronger. It takes strategic thinking and quick reaction time to safely extinguish the mighty infernos that the player must face in this title. After successful missions the team's efforts are glorified in the nightly television news broadcast and especially grateful citizens may even send personal thank-you notes to the brave firefighters who are able to rescue them.
