Use the LaCie Rugged Mini 1 TB, External, 5400-RPM (301558) HDD to store your important information in an external hard drive. This device is shock-resistant with durable construction. You can configure this LaCie hard disk drive to work with your Apple MacBook Pro, Apple Mini Mac, iPad, or Windows computers. It works with any version of iOS or Windows operating systems. The first time you use this 1 TB drive, it will ask you if you want to create partitions. If you select not to partition the drive, you can still do this after you have already put data onto it.The LaCie drive offers capacity for up to 1 TB, meaning tons of storage for your important documents, music, and photos. The 1 TB space is also enough to make full backups of your laptop or desktop computer. You can also use this external hard drive to create backup copies of all of the photos on your SSDI cards. You will never have to worry about losing your archived photos again because of the drive's sturdy form factor setup. This accessory also allows you the flexibility to store images and files on a Windows format and then transfer them to your MacBook Pro or iPad. They will retain the proper formatting no matter how many times you move, edit, or save the files.This portable hard drive comes with a USB 3.0 cable. The cable measures about 16 inches in length, giving you plenty of space to use it on a tower or desktop computer.
