Running an older computer, I like the fact it uses USB 2.0 protocol, which I assume is forward compatible. If not, that's ok too. I didn't need the unattended shutdown mode since there's always someone here 24/7. You won't be disappointed with this unit. It even has charging ports for you cell phone.
