I own a pair of JBL Partybox 320 speakers. The Sony Ult 7 speakers do not have the same thump, but have a better quality sound at the volume I usually listen to. I love that they have a dynamic sound field and adjust to being inside or outside.

I like the ability to have it stand vertical or horizontal. The item is covered in mesh, but is pretty durable. The speaker has good volume. I own JBL On the go and JBL Encore speakers. This speaker has more treble and less deep bass. Bass is still very good when using Ult 2 mode. Awesome speaker to have mic input on the back. Water proofing back cover for ports works too. Great speaker for the price purchased.

It can achieve very high volume levels and provides even large room filling sound. It's large and heavy to carry around but the handles on the ends make that a bit easier. Worth the effort however. Great deal from this seller. Unit arrived in perfect condition.
