Synopsis
Providing the first comprehensive overview of the method of crystal growth in gels, Professor Henisch reviews the field, covering the underlying physics as well as the empirical experience of growth techniques accumulated over the past century. In addition, the book discusses the phenomenon of periodic precipitation, which often governs the distribution of crystal in laboratory growth systems. For the first time, computer techniques are brought to bear on the subject, the diffusion equations being solved numerically, in association with the conditions governing precipitations and crystal growth., This, the first comprehensive overview of the methods of crystal growth in gels, reviews the field, covering the underlying physics as well as the empirical experience of growth techniques accumulated over the last century. In addition, the phenomenon of periodic precipitation, which often governs the distribution of crystals in laboratory growth systems, is discussed.

- 0***n (828)- Votos emitidos por el comprador.Últimos 6 mesesCompra verificadaThis transaction was a little bittersweet. The item arrived in lightning quick time. Shipping was very fast Communication was very good, However other than the shoddy packaging which I paid $6.50 for. I was a little nervous when I first saw it, because the magazine was kind of curved during its journey to me. However all good. Thank you very happy with my purchase.
