Normally I play digital drums, so I wanted something where I could hear the rudiments in there (bad joke alert) rudimentary form. The little Griffin Piccolo fits the bill. Inexpensive, but not “cheap” feeling. Responsive and -unlike many “affordable” drums- actually tunable and capable of holding that tuning. Sore wrists and frustration indicates it’s serving its purpose.

The only critique I have is that it would be nice to have a better drum head included with the drum, but that's not a necessary component. I'd likely purchase my own custom drum head anyway, but it would be nice to have a better default with the drum just to have as a backup. other than that this purchase was alright. thanks!

As it is time to replenish my supply, this pack seems to be a good value. The cables were packed tightly in the shipping box, which looked a bit beat up, but the cables themselves seem to be fine. They probably didn't endure any worse conditions in shipping than they will in a road case for live use. Enclosed in the package was a flier for other products by the seller. They caught my interest.
