Available on a seven-disk set of DVDs, "The Thin Man Collection" contains all the movies of the mystery series. Nick and Nora Charles are the main characters that go around solving seemingly unsolvable murders and other crimes. Nick Charles is a former police detective while his wife Nora is a socialite with a quick mind. They are both quick witted and good at solving the supposedly unsolvable cases. They don't shy away from danger or high class parties. "The Thin Man Collection stars William Powell and Myrna Loy as the lead characters. Other actors that showed up in the movies include a young James Stewart and Dean Stockwell as a child. This seven-disc set includes all six mystery movies, such as the original "Thin Man," "Shadow of the Thin Man," and "The Thin Man Goes Home." "The Thin Man Collection" also has some special features, including a bonus documentary disc, a trailer gallery, comedy shorts, and classic cartoons.

    came as described. great condition, even came with a little period piece sticker saying 5.99 on it which was interesting to me. make no mistake though i paid a fair price. packaging looked good, clean. was unopened. i have yet to test the quality of the tapes but i can only assume it will be good.

    It is interesting that you mention the period price sticker. Some people really want those as a period indicator. Especially on vintage CDs and DVDs. It is always a debate in my head about removing them because it seems odd to sell something with a price sticker well below what I am selling it for, but with inflation and the rarity, I tend to leave them on now.
