Synopsis
In 1940, the US Army Signal Intelligence Service broke the Japanese diplomatic code. In 1975 Oshima Hiroshi, Japan's ambassador to Berlin during World War II, died, never knowing that the hundreds of messages he transmitted to Tokyo had been fully decoded by the Americans and whisked off to Washington, providing a major source of information for the Allies on Nazi activities.

Seller might want to add more pics and better description because there was a tear on the back dust jacket that wasn’t mentioned. Could’ve happened during shipping so I’m not holding it against the seller. I fixed with tape on the inside of jacket. No harm/no foul. The seller had a more than generous price for this book + free shipping. NO complaints. Hence, I would purchase from this seller again without hesitation.
