Cement tiles are agglomerates made with machines and under pressure with good basic materials. They give products that, if they do not have the usury resistance of porcelain stoneware tiles, compete very widely with ceramic products. The cement tiles, do not undergo firing, are not deformed. Their dimensions are regular. On ceramic tiles, they have the advantage of a more economical installation and an easy and controllable manufacture with a very low cost price. On the other hand, their price is lower than the ceramic products and the results obtained in the modern manufactures allow obtaining artistic effects very interesting and diversified to infinity.The manufacture of cement tiles is admired by several amateurs and professionals because of certain advantages that the cement tile presents, and which are, compared to ceramic tiles:1- Its lower cost price;2- The speed of execution and installation of such a manufacture;3- Require very little or even no driving force;4- To be able to settle everywhere in the centers of consumption and to require only a restricted capital for the installations.
