It moves from the Baroque to 20th-century works and features solo, chamber and orchestral performances that run the gamut from stylish interpretations of Bach and Vivaldi to the first recordings of Giulani's trio of guitar concertos. Of special note, 3 of the discs in this 11-CD set are dedicated to the music of Romero family friend Rodrigo, including arguably the finest version still available of his most famous and popular concerto, the Concierto de Aranjuez, and his last concerto, the Concierto Para un Fiesta, which was written especially for Pepe Romero in the early '80s!
