Built with five 10/100 fast Ethernet ports, this unit enables you to connect up to five devices to your network. Easily plug in computers, laptops, printers, gaming consoles and storage devices into this 5-port device, to get data transmission rates at up to 10 times the speed of Ethernet connections. Auto-sensing capability is also integrated into this unit, which enables each port to automatically check and prioritize settings based on networking conditions. This Linksys device comes with exceptional power savings features to help you optimize energy efficiency in your network. Unused ports are automatically disabled to minimize electrical consumption. Its built-in sleep mode functionality switches on when these interfaces are idle or become inactive. When shorter wires are used to connect devices, a smaller supply of electrical current is also delivered.
