NotesFormed in 1995, Buckcherry, led by Joshua Todd and Keith Nelson, quickly earned a major following on the L.A. club scene. Signed to DreamWorks Records, the band issued their self-titled debut album in 1999. With it's hard hitting riffs, the album, produced by Terry Date and Sex Pistol Steve Jones, firmly established the band as one of the finest around. The album unleashed the hits 'Lit Up,' 'Check Your Head' and 'For the Movies,' becoming a rock and roll classic. This Special Edition CD/DVD version of the classic Buckcherry debut album contains the remastered original album, as well as a DVD featuring three rare audio tracks (two studio recordings from 1999, 'Late Nights in Voodoo' and 'Fastback 69,' both commercially unreleased in the U.S. and 'Lit Up' (live at Woodstock '99), commercially unreleased in the U.S.) and seven rare videos. The seven promo videos:' Lit Up,' 'Check Your Head,' 'Dead Again,' 'For the Movies,' 'For the Movies (Live Footage),' 'Crushed (Live at the Viper Room)' and 'Check Your Head (Live at the Viper Room)'.
