Es erwies sich als ein beraus gl cklicher und weitsichtiger Entschluss des Instituts f r Zeitgeschichte und des K. G. Saur Verlags, die 1987 bereits fragmentarisch publizierten handschriftlichen Aufzeichnungen neu und vor allem vollst ndig zu edieren. Insbesondere die hier erstmals ver ffentlichten Tagebuchpassagen bieten hochinteressante und bisher unbekannte Einblicke in Psyche und Charakter des Tagebuchschreibers, aber weit mehr noch in die Fr hgeschichte der NSDAP, die politische Entwicklung bis zur Regierungs bernahme durch die Nationalsozialisten 1933 und ihre anschlie end brutal vollzogene Machtetablierung. Diese Gesamtedition enth lt im Gegensatz zu vorangegangenen Teileditionen erstmals bedeutsame Tagebucheintr ge zu zahlreichen Ereignissen von besonderer historischer Relevanz. Die Vorlage zur Edition der handschriftlichen Tageb cher bildeten die von Goebbels beschriebenen Originalkladden, die durch die jeweiligen Siegerm chte nach Russland bzw. in die USA verbracht wurden, und die von Goebbels noch selbst in Auftrag gegebene Sicherheitskopie auf eine fr he Form der Mikrofichierung auf Glas, die die Herausgeberin im Jahre 1992 in Moskau entdeckt und von denen sie Duplikate nach M nchen gebracht hat., Mit den 29 Textbänden und den drei Erschließungsbänden ist die Edition sämtlicher vorhandener Goebbels-Tagebücher abgeschlossen. Sie macht dem Forscher und interessierten Laien nahezu 7.000 von Hand beschriebene Seiten und ca. 36.000 diktierte Blätter von einem der prominentesten und einflussreichsten Nationalsozialisten zugänglich. Sie sind bereits jetzt anerkanntermaßen für die historische Forschung zur nationalsozialistischen Bewegung und zum NS-Regime eine unverzichtbare Quelle geworden, handelt es sich doch um das einzige Selbstzeugnis eines nationalsozialistischen Spitzenpolitikers, das über zwei Jahrzehnte kontinuierlich geführt wurde.

    A rocky start after I had to NUDGE the Seller into checking on my order after MORE than a week with NOTHING happening... But Seller communication was GOOD and the item showed up, well packaged, within the delivery window. Item was well priced, and they had a series that I STRUGGLED to find elsewhere, in NEW condition. I would recommend this seller if you can't find it elsewhere, that's the best I can give them.

    5 stars Great seller—made it right when USPS didn’t. The item was marked as delivered on May 27th to a “reception area,” even though I live in a single-family home. Clearly a USPS error. I reached out to the seller, who responded quickly and assured me the book was on the way. It finally arrived safely on June 7th. Not the seller’s fault, and I appreciate their professionalism and communication throughout. Would buy from them again.
