Despite item being well-packed, when it arrived to my house today I found that half the top of the envelope had been torn open and although the stamp inside was undamaged, two of the USA stamps on the outside had been torn. I suspect that the envelope had been torn open either by UK Customs or by UK post. Customs might have opened the envelope because they could feel something hard inside - this was actually a polypropylene cover protecting the stamp.
