Synopsis
This Level Four I Can Read book is a perfect bridge to chapter books for elementary-grade kids--and it introduces the thrilling story of the Wright Brothers, flight pioneers. When Tom Tate hears that Wilbur and Orville Wright are building a flying machine, he can't wait to try it. Tom's dad thinks it's dangerous. Some people think the Wrights are crazy. Can Tom help the brothers get their dream off the ground? "Children will identify with the spirit of this boy who enthusiastically volunteered to try out the glider when there wasn't enough wind to lift the grown men," commented School Library Journal , which also praised the "carefully researched" illustrations. First Flight helps build reading confidence and pleasure while engaging young readers with compelling historical fiction., This Level Four I Can Read book is a perfect bridge to chapter books for elementary-grade kids--and it introduces the thrilling story of the Wright Brothers, flight pioneers. Packed safely and securely - Shipping was slow (10 days from an hour and a half away!) but it was Free! I thought Price was especially reasonable! Book came in Exactly as Described and I can't wait to start reading it! I Recommend this Seller!

A rocky start after I had to NUDGE the Seller into checking on my order after MORE than a week with NOTHING happening... But Seller communication was GOOD and the item showed up, well packaged, within the delivery window. Item was well priced, and they had a series that I STRUGGLED to find elsewhere, in NEW condition. I would recommend this seller if you can't find it elsewhere, that's the best I can give them.

5 stars Great seller—made it right when USPS didn’t. The item was marked as delivered on May 27th to a “reception area,” even though I live in a single-family home. Clearly a USPS error. I reached out to the seller, who responded quickly and assured me the book was on the way. It finally arrived safely on June 7th. Not the seller’s fault, and I appreciate their professionalism and communication throughout. Would buy from them again.
