Fun story: I bought some cheep cooler and after several hours I noticed that cable from cooler is in wrong position against mounting brackets and bottom of the cooler is about 1 mm above CPU :) Thanks to Supermicro that instantly turns off in case of temperature .... Several hours with puzzle of changing rams and cpus :)

Thought I was just getting board (already had 2 cpus) was surprised to get included cpus + IO shield + TPM module (not using) with board. Now up and running with 128GB memory. Sharing info: Board is an EE-ATX (huge). Will fit in Corsair Air 540 with slight mods (mine) and Fractal has an XL case that has standoff holes for EE-ATX.

The only thing that was different than what I expected was the CPU arrived without the plastic CPU caddy tray. It was easy to purchase one from another vendor, but given how the product was pictured with the caddy, and the sensitive nature of the CPU socket, I would have expected it to be included.
