The film's plot is based loosely on the life of original Pink Floyd frontman Syd Barrett, who suffered from mental illness and descended into insanity after being released from the band. 'The Wall' stars Bob Geldof as Pink, a disturbed rock star who is losing his grip on reality. Once a child artist, Pink begins to experience madness as memories of his abusive childhood return to haunt and mentally torture him in the present day. This special edition DVD includes features such as two documentaries, production stills, and a fold-out promo poster.
