This double feature contains two very different films: one about vampires, and one about youthful hippie rebellion.CHILDREN OF THE NIGHT: A young teacher is told that his friend and mentor, a Catholic priest in the small, peaceful town of Allburg, is holding captive a widow and her daughter, who have mysteriously become vampires. Finding this impossible to believe, he decides to drive to Allburg, where one of his students is vacationing, to investigate. He discovers that one of the vampires has been released from captivity, and, one by one, all the town's citizens are turning into bloodsuckers or victims. Now Allburg's fate falls into the hands of an unlikely bunch: the teacher, a teenage girl, and the town drunk. Will this mismatched team of vampire hunters be able to save the town from the grasp of the un-dead?MAYBE I'LL COME HOME IN THE SPRING: Denise Miller (Sally Field) is a runaway teenager in the hippie '60s who returns to the home she was kicked out of. Her parents (Jackie Cooper and Eleanor Parker) don't understand her, and disapprove of her lifestyle and her counterculture boyfriend. Now they are starting to give the same grief to Denise's younger sister, who is just beginning to experiment with the hippie lifestyle. Denise is torn between her family and a man who represents the unconventional and antiestablishment lifestyle she is attracted to.
