Thankfully the model parts were not damaged (this time), but the model box is part of the collectibility of the item. If I wasn’t building the model and just buying to add to a collection, this would be a big issue! I had another order from this seller arrive in the same way but with broken model parts so I specifically asked that this order get shipped in a proper box and they didn’t do it. Proceed with caution.

The seller was polite and had good communications towards us. We are delighted to use their shop and hope to do so also in the future. Oh, and the product is great, a genuine Snow Peak item that is "Made in Japan". 5*****
