Cheaper versions have a loose fitting for the card when you insert it and consequently have a limited life. But this product fits the standard SD card snugly, allowing good electrical contact, and will undoubtedly allow the card to be inserted and removed many times before it fails.

It should be flipped over so that the contacts are visible as it is pushed into the smaller slot. Works fine when this is realised. I always read the instructions. Works a treat - both on windows and mac which I move between all the time! Just works, plug and play! Very handy if you don't have a SD card slot on your computer natively - or even if you do! Its USB A (big normal style) but if required, using a separate USB A to USB C adapter attached to it wont effect its functionality.

Even though the courier has lost the first one sent (small hole in packaging) The Seller was friendly and after very good communication, quickly sent its replacement. It Works perfectly for the job intended and definitely value for money. As you’ll see in the photo below it’s only a small item and from its appearance looks like it came from a high street (well known) shop. I would definitely recommend This Seller to anyone. 10 out of 10
