It was in fact 100% genuine and I have been driving it hard in a Marantz SR620, with some Polk Audio R15 for a while now and hasn't hiccuped. DC offset was under 30mV on original blown channel and 6mV on the healthy old channel. The seller is top shelf. Pics are from testing area, don't judge!

Long story short the amplifier block was one big short circuit. Got the new STK2250 in 3 days. My Sherwood is back singing again. Great service with no worries about the part being a fake. FIVE STARS!
