    First I had to install new roll pin on gear as the other one wasn’t in all the way and hole wasn’t aligned, then found out distributor itself makes noise when rotating I think it’s the bushings inside. Also the wiring grommet was too tall as the cap wouldn’t fit so tried shaving that down. I wasted money and time, probably not the sellers fault, remanufactured faults. I just feel like I could have installed a steel gear on my original one with better quality. Now it sits in the box on a shelf.

    The grommet is made that way to correctly align the cap. If there was an issue with the pin you should have contacted me for a replacement. The pin MUST be installed using an alignment fixture. The slack disappears when the unit is installed and properly clamped down.
