Product Information

The Turbografx 16's answer to the enormously popular Gauntlet series, Dungeon Explorer one-ups the original Gauntlet arcade game by letting up to five (as opposed to four) players cooperate in exploring the various dungeons and vanquishing the various creatures. Also, the game has eight (as opposed to four) playable characters, each rated according to agility, attack, strength, and intelligence. In addition to the expected weaponry (daggers, darts, axes, and the like), each character can perform white as well as black magic. The characters in this game are small, the animation is minimal, and the controls and music take some getting used to, but the bosses are huge and colorful, the storyline is solid, and the action-oriented gameplay is enjoyable. Dungeon Explorer is virtually impossible to beat solo (creatures oftentimes overwhelm the playfield), and, as in Gauntlet, multiplayer action is far more enjoyable than going it alone.

    Very serious seller with a pretty good communication ! Game received as described in the description of the article (with just some usual usage for both the cartridge and instruction manual). Because it has to be delivered from the US to France, the shipping almost took one months to arrive (though sadly, I had to pay custom duties and taxes in order to receive my package) but it came at the right time. It came in a bubble mail but nothing has been damaged during the shipping, so very happy ! :)

    Item is exactly as described. Complete in box! My daughter loves professor Layton games and this was the only one she didn’t have. Plays perfectly. The price is fair for this title since it is a rarer title in English for American 3ds’s. Probably my only complaint is the use of DHL for delivery. It did get here just a couple of days later than expected. But what do you expect for $2.95 shipping. Overall experience was great with this seller!
