With this "set it and forget it" technology, canning has never been an easier process. The Ball FreshTech Electric Water Bath Canner makes quick work of preserving your food. You have the flexibility of canning either eight 1-pint jars or seven 1-quart containers in one session. You can fit the canner in a box for storage that is 15 inches wide, 15 inches high, and 16 inches long. The canner takes up less space if it is disassembled. If you store the canner completely assembled without a box, expect it to stand 12 inches high and span 18 inches from handle to handle. The canner only uses about 80% of the energy that would be used if you preserved your items via the traditional stovetop method. The water boils for the duration of the processing time you set. Be sure to increase the processing time if you live at higher altitudes. The entire system is electric, so you can free up your stovetop for other uses. An ingenious addition to this canner is the spigot. Along the side of the pressure cooker is a basic spigot that allows you to drain out your canning water when you’re done. When you aren't canning, use this pressure cooker as a makeshift drink dispenser. You can serve hot drinks to your guests while entertaining. Add hot tea, cocoa, coffee, and other drinks to the electric canner. You’re not likely to get bored with all the possibilities. When you’ve canned your produce, you’ll find it’s easy to clean up. Remove the glass lid with the handle, and remove the base. You can either hand wash the pieces or put them in the dishwasher.     The items arrived in a timely manner. I did have one of the three windows arrive broken/glass shattered and the company was quick to resolve the issue and send me a replacement. The windows were as described and were good quality and look good installed. This company had the best price of all of the options available. I would recommend the company find a way to package the windows with more protection than just the box. Overall, good experience.
