It is raised so the water runs right through it plus it doesn't scratch my stainless steel sink. This size is not the easiest to find so I bought 4 of them so I will have a backup whenever it wears out or accidentally gets damaged. They aren't heavy but I feel like the shipping cost was this price beause there were 4 of them. At this price, it is definitely worth a try!

If Dollar Tree had them it would have been $1.25 for package of 2, instead of over $3 for package of 2, but Dollar Tree ran out of them and I needed them for a project. I wish there were more available.
