The tongue has been substantially increased, and the heel tab is more usable. The cushioning, including forefoot, is excellent. Toe box is roomy. Tread is super grabby. I made the switch from ASICS (a 40 -year run, so to speak) to Altra a couple of years ago, and I am not going back. Be aware that the Olympus is a zero drop shoe, so break into their use gradually (ASICS are generally in the 8-10 mm range).
