They struggle when going leaves bc they can't get purchase but that's the only issue so far. Have only used them in the woods so I'm not sure how fast they will go on a flat surface but these have enough "oomph" to roll over most everything. THESE ARE GREAT and I highly recommend them for someone just wanting to goof off and have fun.

My Son and I race them around a parking lot down the street and built a small ramp into a grass area that we jump them with. Plenty of crashes and flips and they keep going. They are PLENTY fast enough until he’s a bit older and wants bigger and/or more speed. They each come with 2 battery packs which gives us tons of time.
