The HP hard drive has an external data transfer rate of 300 Mbps, which ensures that users can transfer all of their files rapidly and with ease. The 146 GB hard drive has a spindle speed of 10,000 RPM giving the hard drive a rapid response time. The 146 GB hard drive provides sufficient room for all of the user's storage needs from documents to videos and music to photos. The HP hard drive has an SAS interface, which allows it to easily connect with other peripherals. The Hot-Plug or Hot Swap functionality of the HP hard drive permits the user to add components without having to shut down the system completely. It is a small but powerful hard drive, and the HP hard drive measures just 1.5 centimetres by 7 centimetres, respectively.
