Product Information
Knights of the Sky is a World War I flight simulator that features several play modes. There is a training flight mode, a career mode, a dogfight mode (where you can square off against a famous ace) and a two-player head-to-head mode for modem combat. The game allows the player to fly for the French or the British in career mode, but any of the 20 fighter aircraft represented may be flown in the other modes. Career mode missions require the player to be constantly vigilant because enemy aircraft can appear at most any time, especially when the player is busy during takeoff or landing. An observant player may also spot an unescorted two-seater aircraft and try to score an easy victory. The campaign mode is further enlivened by historical newspaper reports covering the progress of the war and highlights of the player's career as an ace pilot.
