Since my 3 cylinder, 2 stroke jetski has a tach lead from the CDI, I simply took that signal lead and hooked to the tachs red lead, took the tach's black lead to ground, set the tach to 3 per 1 rev, and walla - it was reading RPMs. Works great. There is no information if there is a battery in this tach or if it can be changed - its display is always on. The add pic is what I received. Ebay would not let me upload a MP4 file of it working.

I just installed it today, and it works just as expected. The only drawback is that the display is always on, so I suspect that battery life will be reduced because of this. Time will tell, but so far I am happy with this purchase.

I had all kinds of red flags going off in my head because of the none tracking situation. Yet I ordered on the 13th as they arrived on the 15th. Way faster than any known delivery service I encountered. These guys uses a delivery company UniUni don’t be discouraged they or legendary real as well fast professional packaged . I promise these guys or the guys to order from if you needs parts fast. It doesn’t get any more better .
