The Vinyl Collection, Vol. 1 boxset is comprised of Billy Joel's first six studio albums and two live albums, including previously unreleased Live at The Great American Music Hall. These titles are presented in recreations of their original packaging and accompanied by a 50-page book featuring rarely-seen photos and memorabilia from this chapter of Billy Joel's recording career along with an essay by Anthony DeCurtis. Albums included: Cold Spring Harbor (1971 / 1LP), Piano Man (1973 / 1LP), Streetlife Serenade (1974 / 1LP), Turnstiles (1976 / 1LP), The Stranger (1977 / 1LP), 52nd Street (1978 / 1LP), Songs In The Attic (1981 / 1LP), Live at The Great American Music Hall (1975 / 2LP).

    A brand new sealed import CD was purchased on 9-5, shipped on 9-15, and delivered by USPS Media Mail on 9-18. Item received was brand new as listed and arrived undamaged shipped inside a plastic padded envelope. Apparently Movie Mars does not keep stock on hand and orders stock from their suppliers when a customer places an order, hence the long wait time to ship. The new and undamaged condition of CD received and the reasonable price offered made for a satisfactory purchasing experience.
