Very versital, weighty for its size, made of metal. Even has a level indicator. All this for a field recorder - might be a bit much, but worth it. Fast shipping & handling plus cost of this item is a good investment for long term use, cameras etc. In my opinion, its also kinda stylish for my needs.

I have a number of pieces of Smallrig gear; this one is clearly inferior to all the others. The issue is in the ball head, which acts almost as if it had an on/off switch to control the head movement. Tripod id fine, but together not worth it

I purchased the used Tripod for a very good price then though that maybe it wasn't a complete tripod and got scared. Nothing in the description indicated it came with a fluid head. I asked the seller and they responded quickly and reassured me. Lastly the package arrived packaged as if new and everything was complete and as promised. I'm very happy with the tripod and it saves a lot of time over traditional tripods.
