It features embedded-servo technology to eliminate the need to perform periodic recalibration, which slows down data transfer, making this drive ideal for AV applications. Embedded-servo technology gets rid of data interruptions that cause dropped frames in video applications. The Partial Response Maximum Likelihood (PRML) technology keeps data clear from background interference and allows Seagate disk drives to increase areal density (disk capacity), boost transfer speed, improve yield through the drive's ability to self-calibrate and lower disk noise.

    First purchase they accidentally sent the wrong board. Contacted them and put in an offer for a new one to be shipped. They gave us a 25% off my offer refund on the replacement and upgraded the shipping. We returned the first board and they initiated a refund without having to ask once it was delivered.
