I’ve been working on my long neglected ps1 and this part was the last piece I needed to get it working reliably again. Wonder how many optical drive read errors are actually because of a failing spindle? The quality of the replacement spindle feels and looks to be identical to that of my 97 ps1. Definitely more substantial than others I’ve seen. I also replaced this easily thanks to the tutorial on your site! Thanks again!!!

I initially requested an exchange and messaged the seller, but since I didn’t hear back right away, I went ahead and initiated a return. The seller processed the refund smoothly, which I appreciated. And the listing said "new," so I was surprised by the condition; it may be due to long-term storage, but it's something to be aware of.
