Synopsis
Easy Company, 506th Airborne Division, U.S. Army, was as good a rifle company as any in the world. From their rigorous training in Georgia in 1942 to D-Day and victory, Ambrose tells the story of this remarkable company, which kept getting the tough assignments. Easy Company was responsible for everything from parachuting into France early D-Day morning to the capture of Hitler's Eagle's Nest at Berchtesgaden. "Band of Brothers" is the account of the men of this remarkable unit who fought, went hungry, froze, and died, a company that took 150 percent casualities and considered the Purple Heart a badge of office. Drawing on hours of interviews with survivors as well as the soldiers' journals and letters, Stephen Ambrose tell the stories -- often in the men's own words -- of these American hereoes.

The book is as described. I've bought a few times from this seller, and it's always been a great experience. Super fast shipping! The seller always ships out the book within 24 hrs (except during holidays, of course) and packs it so well. Their books are well cared for, so I trust their quality and am happy with all the purchases I have made with them.

I finally made it to the post office in Lancaster MN today to pick up the book I ordered a couple of weeks ago. The book was as discribed and in excellent condition. Very happy with the seller as they were quick to answer my questions before I purchased the book from them. I would purchase from them again and recommend them to anyone else. Thanks again

One of the best sellers I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Easy to communicate with, quick to bundle and ship. My books were packaged impeccably, and arrived exactly as described. Couldn’t be happier. Thanks for everything!
