Engineered to produce a deceptively big sound, the Paradigm Cinema 100 Surround/Satellite Speakers is a best choice addition to your home theater system. Paradigm, better known for their Signature and Reference subwoofers and high-end, high-performance speakers, now brings to market courtesy of their custom Rz series, a home theater system that is budget friendly and big on style and space. Sporting a gloss black finish and elegant curves, these diminutive speakers are not only aesthetically pleasing, but also produces incredible sound quality. The compact 5.1-channel theater system features five identical Cinema 100 satellites, designed from molded plastic with a high-gloss finish, and the Cinema Subwoofer that produces a full sound. The Paradigm cinema system uses superior S-PAL satin-anodized pure-aluminum domes with powerful neodymium magnets and ferrofluid cooling for increased power handling. At the back of the satellites are push-thru binding posts with ‘Easy-Glide’ channels that allows for 14 gauge and smaller bare wires. Removable grills with magnetic badges at the front allows you the option to show off the brand or leave it bare. The compact theater series speaker system is low weight, sturdy and easy to mount. It comes with wall mounting hardware, except the screws which must be purchased based on wall type, and can be installed in a variety of ways. It can be mounted on the ceiling and table top. The system must be mounted with bookshelf stands or wall brackets. The aluminum domed tweeter and polypropylene midrange located under the removable grills are injected with minerals to increase the stiffness. The subwoofer is solid, light, compact and comes with four rubber feet that can be attached with self-adhesive pads (glossy side) or screwed on (grill-cloth side). The Cinema Sub carries dual ports and features a 100 watt RMS amplifier with an output of 300 watts dynamic peak and a single High-Excursion driver. There are variable controls for the output level and cross over point (35 Hz to 150 Hz, and is defeat-able). A phase switch (0 or 180 degrees) and an on/auto/standby power switch are located on the back panel. This cinema surround satellite system produces a legendary Paradigm audio sound for a full-range music experience even in a large space. They deliver a great audiophile sound that other systems have not been able to deliver. The subwoofer handles bass well and delivers on great soundstage with consistent low-end frequency response for a great cinematic experience. Enjoy crisp lifelike sounds for your music, full-bodied, plush sounds for blu-ray movies, and sharp detailed sounds for your video games. Grab a pair of noise cancelling headphones and a wireless keyboard and mouse set to heighten your computer gaming experience. Use the appropriate amplifier for your space. If you have a large space and desire a bigger sound, check out other loudspeakers and amplifiers from Paradigm. Turn down the amplifier’s volume immediately if your speakers start to produce a harsh or grating sound or the bass starts breaking up. This may damage the amplifier, in which case it is not covered by warranty.
