In this movie, two CIA agents, also partners and best friends, end up fighting quite literally for the affection of the same woman (played by Reese Witherspoon). “This Means War” portrays one agent, FDR (Chris Pine), as a ladies’ man living in style in the ultimate bachelor’s pad, whereas Tuck (Tom Hardy) takes on the role of the recently divorced dad and sensitive tough guy. This romantic comedy sees Lauren meet Tuck through an online dating site that leads to a promising date and very shortly after a chance encounter with FDR at a video store, where sparks also begin to fly. Lauren is unaware of the men’s friendship and decides to date them both. FDR and Tuck set about winning her affection by using their skills as spies and competing against each other. “This Means War” couples exciting spy action with an entertaining storyline, as FDR and Tuck fight to become the man of Lauren’s dreams.
