Four layers of bubble-wrap plus shredded cardboard in a 9"x18"x22" box. The unit was a great deal. The recorder appearance is nice. I have several Magnavox DVD/HDD recorders, and all are used from eBay, and they all work great. The quality is great. Purchased a few remote controls from eBay for only $9.00 a piece. Looking forward to checking it out.

Both units were missing their batteries (that should have included with a "new and unopened unit"). Contacted seller, and at their request provided photos of the tampered security tape.
