There is no way to stop it rerecording over the message!! I recorded my message, put it in the envelope, the pressure from the closed envelope actually erased the message & beeped for the new one to record over it!!! I had to hand them the card without the envelope, out of the gift bag, all cause I had recorded the same message like 7 times!! Once it played, they put it in bag an poof, message gone again! Very frustrating!
