The item was packaged well with plenty of padding. Sadly the plate is not in good condition and has crazing all over it (my fault for not inquiring before I purchased it.) The plate also has a spot of burned-on debris that was not seen in the photos. The seller did not do a good job of describing the condition of the item and they did not take the time to point out flaws.
