Notes
The HC Three originally formed as three friends playing the traditional country standards they loved. Jaaron Sanderson on guitar and vocals, Tony Coniglio on bass, and Dave Norwood on drums, the band played covers from Jimmie Rodgers to Roger Miller at country dive bars around Austin and the Hill Country. They eventually began incorporating originals into their sets, and before long they had a record. ? With the same grittiness and honesty as their live shows, their first record brought a new level of depth and dynamics to the music--this is traditional Texas country through and through. ? Their first record, Caught Under Northern Tyranny, brought in Laura Bianco on the violin and Justin Douglas on pedal steel and dobro. As a five piece, the HC Three now plays the hottest venues in Texas, while still keeping time for their favorite dives. Their second recond, still untitled and in production, promises to take Texas country to a new level.
