She was absolutely correct! The jacket fits him along his back and round his abdomen. He is an old dog, and it keeps him nice and warm. I would want a heavier fabric for snow or freezing weather but it's perfect for the fall. He sees me pick up the jacket and 'assumes the position' - standing very still with his head upright and enjoys putting it on.
