Sometimes not at all. I think they require 2 days of direct sunlight to charge well. The lamps are in direct sunlight all day, so thats the only explanation l can come up with. Not the sellers fault, just not great. But for the price... hey, you get what you pay for. Better to pay more for higher quality rechargeable batteries. Live and learn.
