But there’s definitely nothing intuitive about ordering a torchiere lampshade online—clearly there’s a steep learning curve involved. As it turns out, this piece will only be a temporary solution, but that hits the spot. It works with the fitter and gets the job done. Otherwise, it’s smaller than what I need, and the color is not a good match for my needs. Ah well!

Unfortunately USPS didn’t deliver because shade was clearly shattered.. Vendor was fantastic and sent replacement shade by another method immediately. All is well.
