The packaging was an only just big enough cardboard box. The item was wrapped in two small bubble rap bags and squashed inside very tight. During transit the small locking knob shaft at the top was bent and several of the micro adjusters and there stops were knocked out of alignment. Also the rotating table at the top is very tight and only just movable by hand.
