The red rubber rings that lasted 10 years were discolored and slightly reduced in volume compared to the new rubber rings. The exact size is correct. However, the size of the black rubber ring was different. In any case, a new rubber ring can be replaced. The coffee taste has changed, too. But I'm not sure if this is good. I'm planning to try it a few more times. I have had many quotes on repair of my frequently clogged Miele espresso machine. All quotes were more expensive than this part ($400 to purchasing a new machine). After replacing the brew unit, no more clogs and the coffee is delicious! I may purchase a second as a back up.
