The item was shipped in a USPS plastic bag and the box the solenoid was in was damaged but the solenoid itself was not damaged. My original solenoid had a 1/16" orifice. This replacement valve has a 3/32" orifice so I had to restrict water flow a bit via my water supply valve to prevent too much water from flowing across the media pad and being wasted. This orifice is located in the brass fitting exiting the valve. It is about the size of a sewing needle point. Please let us know if you need any additional information. Thanks, Thomas.
