Anyway, this fit my 2007 MIM Classic 70s JB about as perfectly as possible -- there are NO gaps anywhere and it dropped right in (although I had to loosen the control plate to install and then re-tighten after it was in place -- nothing wrong with that). The only issue I have is the gloss is not as brilliant as usual, and I took both (there were 2) layers of protective plastic off. Still I'm happy with the buy.

The pick up space was for a single pick up and I have a modern player Fender Jazz which is a double pick up but it was no big deal I was able to cut out the extra space with a Dremel which I already knew that was how it was sold so I am not complaining I am happy thank you it looks great on my bass:)
