Its bright-frame viewfinder has 0.52x magnification and 85% frame coverage. The f/2.8 lens is a five-element unit that adds sharpness to your photos. Among early electronic cameras, the Nikon L35AF is a favorite.As the first model in the L Series, this camera was Nikon's original touch camera and has become a popular item for collectors. It was the company's first consumer point-and-shoot model and was introduced in 1983. In Japan, the L35AF was given the nickname Pikaichi, meaning "top notch". It works completely in automatic exposure with a range of EV 6 to EV 17 with ASA/ISO 100 film. The unit's AF gets a sharp image from 0.8 meters to infinity. With 35-millimeter film cartridges, the camera's film speed range is ASA/ISO 50 to 1,000.
